On 15 May, Eurocool had their very first sales conference at Shumba Valley Lodge since the COVID-19 pandemic hit South Africa in 2020. The day started out with a traditional South African breakfast, but this sales conference was not your average sales conference…
When walking into the conference room you could see a band setup, named “The Window Rattlers”, the anticipation grew within the room and then the announcement was made. For the team building event, the sales teams were divided into teams for the BATTLE OF THE BANDS. Each team had 1 hour to rehearse and pick out costumes.
After the announcement was made regarding the Battle of the Bands, Mark Berger kicked off the sales conference with reflection exercises and discussions. The sales conference was informative and new skills were learned.
The evening was extremely exciting with the teams performing and the crowd cheering for their favorite band. Our judges had a difficult time with the scoring of the bands as each band was unique in their own way.
